Thanks for stopping by! 🙋♀️
I’m a multi-media designer, curious educational technology researcher, and enthusiastic educator.
My research focuses on culturally responsive computing, computer science education, computational creativity, game-based learning, and the design of educational technologies that connect cultural knowledge with computational thinking. My current work examines how culturally situated design tools can support students in engaging with Asian cultural heritage through programming, visual design, and creative expression. My broader scholarly agenda explores how learners use technology, games, and design tools to make meaning across cultural, disciplinary, and educational contexts.
Always in the mood for collaboration, please reach out if there might be a fit! zhouxi66@msu.edu
